Leo Messi led Inter Miami to their first League Cup title, marking his 44th career title, the most by any player in history, surpassing Dani Alves. After securing his life's goal of winning the World Cup with Argentina, Messi's journey continues, achieving yet another milestone. He propelled Inter Miami, founded in 2018, to victory, scoring in all seven of their matches, amassing 10 goals and an assist, earning him the Player of the Tournament and top scorer accolades.

Messi extended his lead in historical final goals, now standing at 35, surpassing Pele's 31 and Cristiano Ronaldo's 22. The journey continues for Inter Miami as they aim for another title in the U.S. Open semifinals against Cincinnati, followed by an MLS match against the New York Red Bulls.
