Leicester beat Wolves to lift them out of relegation zone on goal difference

When Leicester rallied to defeat Wolves in Dean Smith's first home game as manager, they improved their prospects of remaining in the Premier League. The Foxes earned three points thanks to a goal from Timothy Castagne with 15 minutes remaining, lifting them out of the relegation zone on goal differential.
After 13 minutes, Youri Tielemens was fouled within his own half, giving Matheus Cunha the opportunity to advance and score from the edge of the box for Wolves.
After a strong start, the goal stunned Leicester, but when Jamie Vardy got through Jose Sa and was pulled down by the Wolves goalkeeper, Leicester was given a chance to get back into the game.
Prior to the half, Leicester restored the lead thanks to Kelechi Iheanacho's calm conversion of the penalty.

Wolves remain in 13th place, six points above the relegation zone, while Leicester move up to 17th after snapping a nine-game losing streak.
