Chelsea legend Frank Leboeuf has expressed his desire for Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen to replace Kylian Mbappé at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as the French star is expected to depart at the end of the season when his contract expires, likely joining Real Madrid.
With Mbappé's departure imminent, PSG will need a suitable replacement to fill the void left by their star player.
Leboeuf, a 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, shared his thoughts on ESPN FC, suggesting that Osimhen would be an excellent choice for PSG.
He emphasized Osimhen's pace and compatibility with the current players at the club, particularly mentioning a potential good match with Dembele. Leboeuf also mentioned Toney as another viable option, but Osimhen remains his favorite for the role.
Despite Osimhen recently signing a new deal with Napoli, there are indications that his time with the Italian club is nearing its end.
The Super Eagles striker could become available for interested clubs willing to meet his release clause in the upcoming summer transfer window.
While Chelsea has been considered a potential destination, PSG, with its financial resources, could also challenge the Premier League giants for Osimhen's signature.
