Lagos FA appoints Bolaji Yusuf as Lagos Street Soccer Championship Chairman

The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) on Thursday appointed Bolaji Yusuf as Chairman Committee for the Lagos Street Soccer Championship.
The appointment was announced by Fouad Alade Oki, LSFA Chairman, at the inauguration of the Management Committee of Lagos Iconic Football Competitions at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
In a bid to redefine football in Lagos State under the leadership of the new chairman, the FA re-activated critical football components in the State which includes Oba cup, Principal cup, IBILE cup, Lagos Street Soccer, and Lagos Junior League.
The committee for the Lagos Street Soccer Championship also has Olatunji Aru Issa Folami as Vice Chairman and Deji Aladegbemi as Secretary.
Other members of the committee include Samiat Bada, Ladi Balogun, Abiola Yisa, Coach Taiwo Oloyede, Phemmy Adetula, Yomi Kuku, Mr. Ayeni Saheed, Mr. Joash Manuwa, Amoo Olanrewaju Yusuf, Musbau Oseni, Tunji Ekemode, Toyin Oginni and Alhaji Zakaria Abdullahi.
In his reaction to the appointment, Bolaji Yusuf, fondly called “BJ” , said it was a call to service and an opportunity to serve the motherland.
“I want to thank our amiable Chairman Fouad Oki for finding me worthy to serve as the Chairman of the Lagos Street Soccer committee.
``I understand the enormity of this task and most importantly the need to engage youths through sport at this critical point in our national development.
“Street Soccer is a unique game with techniques and dimensions and I will work diligently with my committee members to ensure we get the task done.”
