Kylian Mbappe Begins Training with Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid's marquee summer signing, joined his new teammates for his first training session with the Spanish champions on Wednesday. The French captain shared his excitement on X, posting, "Day 1. Hala Madrid!" along with photos from the session.

 

Following his pre-season medical checks, Mbappe and the rest of the squad engaged in gym workouts at Madrid’s training facility, as noted in the club’s press release. The training marked the full return of all players, including those who participated in Euro 2024, where Mbappe's French team was knocked out by Spain in the semifinals.

 

Mbappe, who was officially presented as a Real Madrid player on July 16 at the Santiago Bernabeu, expressed his fulfillment of a lifelong dream in front of the 80,000-strong crowd. The 25-year-old star is now focused on integrating into his new team and preparing for the upcoming season.
