As Kwara United prepares for their NPFL Matchday 29 clash against defending champions Rangers International this Saturday in Enugu, the club will first engage in a friendly match against Gaa Akanbi FC at the main bowl of Rashidi Yekini/George Innih Stadium, Ilorin, at 4 p.m.
The friendly match serves as a warm-up to ensure Kwara United remains in top shape ahead of the crucial encounter in Enugu.
Additionally, the Harmony Boys will depart Ilorin for Enugu on Thursday, aiming to secure a positive result at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium (The Cathedral).
In the first-leg fixture, Rangers held Kwara United to a 1-1 draw in Ilorin, and Coach Tunde Sanni remains confident that his team can return the favor in Enugu.
"For them to get a draw here in Ilorin, nothing stops us from securing a good result at The Cathedral," he stated.
