Klopp sent scouts to watch £150m player in Portugal

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp deployed scouts to observe Victor Osimhen during his match for Nigeria against Saudi Arabia in Portugal last week. 

This move comes as Liverpool has reportedly expressed strong interest in Osimhen, who may potentially leave Napoli in 2024. 

The Nigerian striker, known for his power and skill, faced a recent social media dispute with his club, increasing the likelihood of a transfer in the upcoming windows. 

Osimhen's talent has attracted attention from top clubs, with Chelsea and Arsenal also reportedly interested. 

Although his price tag was initially set high at £150 million, recent developments may lead to a more reasonable fee, but acquiring Osimhen will likely require Liverpool to break their transfer record and outcompete other suitors, including Arsenal and Chelsea.
