Katsina Sports Commissioner gives massive support for Katsina Utd FC

The Commissioner of Sports and Youth Development, Alh Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, has urged Katsina's sports fans to turn out en masse to support the state team ahead of the Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL Season 2023/2024.

The Commissioner, who expressed confidence in the quality of players currently recruited at Katsina United, called for greater support and collaboration from the state's teeming youths in order for the club to flourish.

Jirdede also used the avenue to draw the attention of the state's sports fans to coordinate themselves by displaying maturity and sportsmanship during the club's home matches, which will be televised.

A high definition artificial intelligent camera (HDAI) will be used at Muhammadu Dikko Stadium during the season, he added.

The Commissioner reaffirmed the state government's commitment to doing everything possible to advance the sports sector.
