Katsina Football Academy congratulates football prodigy on national U17 call up

Katsina Football Academy Chairman Mal Ahmed Muhammad has congratulated one of the academy's players, Usman Abdullahi Babai, on his selection to the 18-man La Liga NPFL U17 team that will compete in Spain.


Ahmed Muhammad praised Usman Abdullahi Babai for his effort, discipline, and resilience, which earned him a spot on the NPFL U17 team.

According to the announcement, the Chairman attributed this success to the academy's commitment to developing young, talented players.


Ahmed Muhammad encouraged Babai to maintain his momentum by showcasing his skills and talents throughout their journey to Spain, where football scouts will be present.


He urged Babai to keep up the pace by demonstrating his abilities while in Spain, where scouts will be on hand to select the best players.


Usman Abdullahi Babai earned his place on the 18-man NPFL U17 team after rigorous training and matches in Abuja, where over 300 players competed for a spot.
