Kano Pillars FC announces resumption for players, coaches
Posted : 24 July 2023
The former Nigeria Champion, Kano Pillars football club players have been directed to resume training on Tuesday 25/7/2023.
This was disclosed by the Chairman of the club Alhaji Babangida Umar in Lagos.
The Chairman said the directive affected only players that have the remaining contract with the club, while those whose contract ended with the club in the just concluded season would wait for further directives.
Alhaji Babangida Umar said any player that fails to report back as directed should blame himself on any action taken against him.
He then reaffirmed that only technical Crew that would lead the team in the forthcoming 2023/2024 football season can invite new players to the team.
The Chairman explained that he would give free hand to the technical Crew to recruit players that they have confidence in.
Alhaji Babangida Umar maintained that no member of his board or secretariat staff of the club would be allowed to interfere in the affairs of the technical Crew in terms of recruiting players.
``I'm not going to tolerate any failure that is why I'm going to give free hand to my Coaches in recruiting players so any player who is not invited by the technical Crew, we don't want to see him in our training program," Babangida said.
The Sai masu gida are expected to announce the new Technical Adviser that will drive the team in the forthcoming 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier league before the resumption date of the training.
