Kano Pillars denounce player's departure

The management of Kano Pillars FC has dissociated itself from the online report claiming that its center-back, Rashid Alhassan, has departed the club.


The Sai Masu Gida team has cleared the air regarding the situation of the reliable defender.


"Recent reports have surfaced on various social media platforms claiming that center-back Rashid Alhassan has departed from the Nigerian side, Kano Pillars, after a short-term deal. 


However, as of now, there has been no official confirmation from Kano Pillars or Rashid Alhassan regarding his departure. 


Additionally, reputable sports news outlets have not reported on this matter.


It's important to note that Rashid Alhassan, a 26-year-old Ghanaian center-back born in Accra, Ghana, joined Kano Pillars in 2024. 


In the absence of official statements or credible reports, the information about his departure should be treated with caution."
