Jadon Sancho to hold talks with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag following public spat

Jadon Sancho is scheduled for a meeting with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, as reported by sources at ESPN. This comes after a public dispute between the two following United's 3-1 loss to Arsenal.
Sancho, along with other players not involved in international matches, is due to return to Carrington on Monday. It will be the first face-to-face encounter between the 23-year-old winger and Ten Hag since Sancho publicly refuted the Dutchman's claims that he was dropped from the Arsenal game due to poor training performances.
In a social media post that remains online, Sancho stated that Ten Hag's claims were "completely untrue" and emphasized his good conduct in training. Ten Hag is now expected to make a decision regarding Sancho's future at the club after their talks. United, according to sources, will support whatever choice Ten Hag makes, with all options being considered.
Sancho's fate will be determined independently of other factors, including Antony's leave of absence. Antony, the Brazilian international, has been granted time away from the club amid allegations of abusive behavior made by three women, and there is no specified timeline for his return.
Despite injuries to key players like Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Raphaël Varane, Mason Mount, and Sofyan Amrabat, sources state that Ten Hag will not take these factors into account when deciding on any potential consequences for Sancho.
United faces a challenging series of matches against Brighton, Bayern Munich, and Burnley after the international break. If Sancho is unavailable for selection, Ten Hag would have limited options in the forward positions, relying on players like Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho, and Facundo Pellistri.
United's next match is against Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford, followed by the start of their Champions League campaign with an away game against Bayern Munich.
