I’m not Alexander Isak’s replacement, Umar Sadiq says

Umar Sadiq, the Super Eagles' star, has stated that he does not view himself as a substitute for Newcastle's Alexander Isak.
He maintains that he is not burdened by the responsibility of filling the void left by the Swedish striker and is focused on establishing himself at the Reale Arena.
Isak spent three seasons with Real Sociedad in San Sebastián, scoring 44 goals and providing 8 assists in 132 appearances for the club.
Newcastle United FC offered a record deal of €70,000,000 to Real Sociedad after being impressed by Isak's superb performances for the Spanish team.
Following his departure, rumours circulated that the club was on the lookout for a replacement, and Sadiq's impressive performances for UD Almería caught their attention.
However, the former AS Roma player clarified in an interview with The Hindsight Podcast that he did not join the white-blue team as a replacement for the former Borussia Dortmund forward.
“The way we inside football see it is different from the way other people outside football see it.
“I don’t see it as a replacement or a big money transfer, and will now start giving myself pressure. I see it as a normal transfer.
“I came here to play good football, to help the team and to show myself,” the 26-year-old said.
