2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 10: Ikorodu City FC in right mood to face league leaders, Rivers United FC, says captain Ojetoye

Lagos-based Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) debutant Ikorodu City FC is battle-ready and in the right mindset to face the current league leaders, says captain Waliu Ojetoye.


The next big fixture for the Oga Boys is the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 10 clash against a team that has yet to be beaten in the previous nine matches.

Ikorodu City FC will host the league leaders, Rivers United, at their home ground, the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.


Following their last-minute loss to Enyimba in Aba, captain Waliu Ojetoye affirmed that the spirit in the camp remains high.


"Yes, the mood in camp is positive, and our preparation for the next game has been excellent. We can't wait to implement everything we've worked on this week.


"We are ready for the next game, and our target is to secure all three points."


A win for us will bring an end to Rivers United's unbeaten run this season and secure our third victory of the season.
