The Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Ikorodu City FC, announced on Thursday the departure of its coach, Sadiq Dabiri, by mutual consent.
The club made this known in an official statement in Lagos.
According to the club, "We would like to announce the departure of our head coach, Sadiq Dabiri, after a meeting with the board by mutual agreement.
"Ikorodu City manager, Sadiq Dabiri, has stepped down from his role as the head coach of the team after a mutual agreement with the management of the club.
"The coach has been with the club since its inception in 2022. He started as the first assistant coach and became the club head coach in 2023.
"Sadiq Dabiri has been a huge part of the club’s success, and the entire management and staff of the club wish him well as he progresses in his career.
"The club will announce a replacement in the coming days," the statement said.
