Ikon Allah conducts scouting programme in Kano

The three-day football scouting program at Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, organized collaboratively by Kibiya and Ikon Allah Football Academy, successfully concluded with the participation of over 24 youth teams from across the state.  


Led by renowned scout Mr. Rooney, the event identified 10 promising players who showcased exceptional talent.  


Mr. Rooney expressed his satisfaction with the program, noting the abundance of talent in Kano and reaffirming his commitment to facilitating opportunities for these players to advance to European clubs.  


Similarly, Mr. Ayi Mohammed, CEO of Ikon Allah Football Academy in Kaduna and a nominee for the 2024 Sports Legendary Awards Nigeria, highlighted the exceptional skills observed during the event and emphasized plans to prepare these players for upcoming transfer opportunities.  


The program, which commenced on Sunday, February 23, featured matches with 40-minute durations starting at 8:45 a.m. daily.  


This initiative underscores ongoing efforts to nurture grassroots football talent in Nigeria and provide pathways for young athletes to reach professional levels.
