Ijele FC U-19 secure sponsorship for Viareggio tournament

Ijele Sports Club has achieved another milestone as they close a tournament sponsorship deal with Afriskaut for the forthcoming Viareggio Youth Tournament.


The new entrants into the Nigerian football scene will participate in the prestigious Viareggio Tournament. The 75th edition of the tournament will be held from March 17 to March 31, 2025, in Italy.


Founded in 1949, the tournament has a rich history of showcasing young talent and has been a significant platform for emerging footballers.


Four Nigerian youth teams will participate in the 2025 edition of the tournament, with Beyond Limits, a Nigerian team, serving as the defending champions.


In an interview, the Chairman of Ijele Sports Club, Victor Obinna Edeh, described the sponsorship deal as a great one for the team.
