Iheanacho's perseverance against Leeds leads to Vardy's goal

Despite his absence from Brendan Rodgers' starting lineup, Kelechi Iheanacho proves his indispensability to the squad. 

In an impressive display against Leeds United, the Nigerian star's relentless efforts led to a crucial goal.

Trailing the hosts, Iheanacho, despite hobbling and displaying a determined demeanor, persistently orchestrated a build-up that resulted in Jamie Vardy finding the back of the net, courtesy of James Maddison's excellent assist. 

Despite his physical discomfort, Iheanacho defied his instincts and delivered a flawless pass to Maddison with his non-dominant leg.

Leicester City's visit to Elland Road was crucial as they aimed to secure their position and avoid relegation, building on their previous triumph over Wolverhampton.

Iheanacho, fueled by his desire to lead Leicester to victory, once again showcased his commitment, putting his body on the line to pursue an equalizer against Leeds. 

While their efforts earlier in the game were denied by goalkeeper Illan Meslier, substitutes Patson Daka and Jamie Vardy ultimately contributed to securing the vital goal.

Leicester City will now focus on their upcoming match against Everton at the King Power Stadium, seeking another win to widen the points gap between them and Sean Dyche's team.
