The newly signed player for Enyimba International FC and 2013 AFCON winner, Brown Ideye, has expressed his displeasure over the exodus of Nigerian players to lesser-known countries.
Recently, the duo of Ismail Sodiq and Deputy Echeta were reported to have secured moves to relatively "unknown countries."
Ideye, who joined the People’s Elephant of Aba, bemoaned the agents for sending these youngsters to low-rated clubs.
"It’s sad how all these agents ship out our young stars to start their careers. Are they thinking of the players' futures?
"It’s better to start in a second-division club in France, Spain, or Germany, where you can easily be noticed by other top clubs."
