Hugo Lloris, the captain of Tottenham, will miss the remainder of the season

Hugo Lloris, the captain and starting goalie for Tottenham, will miss the last four matches of the season due to a thigh injury.
The 36-year-old former France international hasn't played since being substituted at halftime of Tottenham's 6-1 loss to Newcastle on April 23.
"Hugo is out for the season. We have now had the results back. We did fear that," said interim boss Ryan Mason.
When Tottenham plays Crystal Palace at home on Saturday, they will be ranked seventh in the Premier League.
After taking Lloris' place against Newcastle and starting the club's most recent two games against Manchester United and Liverpool, Fraser Forster is set to serve as a backup.
Lloris, who transferred from Lyon to Spurs in 2012, is approaching the end of his current deal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but Mason would not speculate on his future.
"I can't speak about next season but Hugo has got a very important role for us until the end of the season," added Mason, who succeeded Cristian Stellini as interim boss.
Following Saturday's matchup with Palace Tottenham will visit Aston Villa on May 13, host Brentford on May 20, and conclude their season at Leeds on May 28.
