Heartland Mgt promises injured player Nwakanma of support

The management of Heartland FC has asserted that the injured Edwin Nwakanma will receive the best possible treatment to expedite his recovery and return to football.
Nwakanma, a former goalkeeper of Abia Warriors, suffered a severe injury during training on Thursday in a collision with his teammate and was promptly taken to the hospital.
Promise Nwachukwu, the General Manager of the Naze Millionaires, expressed his devastation at witnessing the injury but confirmed that Nwakanma was immediately rushed to an orthopedic hospital, where necessary scans and tests have been scheduled to prepare for the surgery.
"It was a distressing incident to witness, but we have everything firmly under control, and the goalkeeper is being attended to promptly," Nwachukwu said.
"As soon as the incident occurred, he was taken to the hospital, where necessary tests and scans have been arranged before the surgery, which will take place soon.
"Our prayers and thoughts are with him at this time. We wish him a speedy recovery."
Additionally, Casmir Mbachu, the General Coordinator of Heartland FC, disclosed that one of the best orthopedic surgeons in Imo State and his team are attending to Nwakanma.
He assured that all expenses will be covered by the Imo State Government through the Commissioner for Youth, Sports, and Social Development, Honourable Emeka Okoronkwo.
He mentioned that Nwakanma will undergo surgery in the coming days after the completion of tests and scans on the affected leg, and within two to three months, he should commence his rehabilitation in the gymnasium.
"The Imo State Government, through the Commissioner for Youth, Sports, and Social Development, Honourable Emeka Okoronkwo, will cover the total cost of the surgery and ensure that Nwakanma bounces back from the injury in no time," Mbachu, a former player of Iwuanyanwu Nationale, stated.
"He has been handed over to an orthopedic surgeon, and the necessary steps have been taken to have the surgery almost immediately."
