Reports indicate that a one-time coach of Heartland International FC and the current Technical Adviser of Sunshine Stars FC, Kennedy Boboye, has dragged the Naze Millionaires to court over their failed contractual agreement.
Boboye has allegedly initiated legal proceedings against Heartland due to an outstanding debt of nineteen million naira (₦19,000,000) that the club owes him.
The two-time NPFL winner was dismissed by the Naze Millionaires just a month after his appointment, following an order from Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma to reinstate the late coach Christian Obi.
"I left without any issues, but they have refused to pay my outstanding wages after terminating my contract.
It's been almost a year now, and they seem unwilling to resolve it,” Boboye told Oludare.
"My attempts to contact Heartland management regarding this matter have been unsuccessful."
