Christian Obi has resumed duties as the head coach of Nigeria's Premier Football League side, Heartland FC.
Obi addressed the players of the Naze Millionaires at the club's training pitch in Owerri.
The Executive Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, ordered the reinstatement of the veteran tactician, leading to the departure of Coach Kennedy Boboye.
It was alleged that both coaches couldn't agree to work together during their meeting with the Imo State Commissioner of Sports, Emeka Okoronkwo, in his office.
Boboye had led Heartland to three wins, an away draw, and three losses, while the club failed to register a single win in nine matches under Obi before he was sacked.
The five-time NPFL champions will travel to face Niger Tornadoes in their next league game.
