Heartland FC appoints Casmir Mbachu as General Coordinator

Five time League Champions, Heartland FC of Owerri has appointed Ex Iwuanyanwu Nationale Player Casmir Mbachu as General Coordinator of the club.
The Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Social Development, Emeka Okoronkwo described the appointment as a welcomed development aimed at repositioning the club for the task ahead.
``The essence of this appointment is to add value to the team in our quest for a Continental ticket, we expect that he will bring his wealth of experience to bear on the Team.
The General Manager, Promise Nwachukwu hailed the appointment of Mbachu as appropriate and suitable to the needs and aspirations of the Club.
The Special Adviser on Heartland matters Sir Emma Ochiagha believes the appointment of Mbachu is in sync with the Governor's directive of carrying stakeholders along in the scheme of things.
According to the Former Vice Chairman of Imo FA Mbachu as the Chairman of ex Iwuanyanwu Nationale Players is qualified In all ramification to help Heartland to achieve a Continental ticket.
The Director of Imo State Sports Commission Sir Ferdinand Emeana described the appointment of Mbachu as a round peg in a round hole.
Responding Mr Casmir Mbachu appreciated the Governor for his Immense Support to the Team which helped the Naze Millionaires to bounce back with a bang from the NNL, He also appreciated the Honourable Commissioner for Sports Hon Emeka Okoronkwo for his zeal, dedication determination and administrative dexterity.
Mr Mbachu promised to work together with the General Manager and the Management to raise Heartland to an enviable Height.

The two time top scorer of the Nigerian league Tony Nwaigwe, resident in England hailed the appointment of Casmir Mbachu,He pledged the support of Ex Iwuanyanwu Nationale players towards revamping and repositioning the team to restore the glory days.

Legendary goalkeeper Etta Egbe alluded to the Positive testimonial of the Commissioner and promised that his colleagues will be partners in progress to return Heartland to the continent.
Coach Obinna Obiaka thanked the General Manager Mr Promise Nwachukwu and the Commissioner for extending the hand of fellowship to former players of the club in the person of Coach Christian Obi, Willy Udube Charles Uzor, former Captain Isaac Mbegbu, Nicholas Ukadike, Jonathan Ubanwa, Friday Onyeukwu, Victor Ezuruike to mention but a few.
He promised that his colleagues are grateful for the honour done them while reassuring the commissioner that they will repay the faith reposed in them to deliver the goods.
