League Two club Gillingham had been interested in signing Liverpool academy product Sheyi Ojo, but it seems unlikely to happen as reported by Sunday Mirror's Darren Witcoop.
Ojo recently left Liverpool after fifteen years to join Cardiff City, where he is under contract until June 2024.
While speculation surrounds his future, he is back in pre-season training with Cardiff. So far, Ojo has played 81 matches for Cardiff, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists.
Throughout his career, he has also had loan spells at various clubs, including Wigan Athletic, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham, Reims, Glasgow Rangers, and Millwall.
During his time at Liverpool, he made thirteen first-team appearances and scored once in an Emirates FA Cup match against Exeter City in January 2016.
