Gift Orban is not up for sale this summer, according to KAA Gent Technical Director Michel Louwagie, despite recent reports linking the striker to Barcelona, Porto, and Benfica.
Leicester City and Leeds United are said to be interested in signing the former Stabaek Football standout to a contract in the Premier League.
Despite reports that he would depart Gent in the summer, it has been revealed that Orban has no imminent plans to do so.
Orban, who joined Gent during the January transfer window, has excelled ever since making his Buffalos debut.
When asked how he might persuade Orban to stay, Louwagie said: "Gift is a luxury problem. He still has a contract until 2027, and we didn't get him at the end of January to sell again in July. We've never done that before."
In nine games of the Belgian Pro-League, Orban has scored nine goals and provided two assists, for an average of one goal per contest.
In the Europa Conference League, the 20-year-old has also been on fire, tallying five goals in five games.
This included the quickest hat trick ever in a UEFA club competition when Gent defeated Istanbul Başakşehir in the round of 16 second leg of the Europa Conference League.
