Giant killers, Doma Utd host Plateau Utd for test of strength

Giant killers, Doma United FC, hope to continue their impressive performance in the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 9 when they host Plateau United at Pantami Stadium in Gombe.

Pantami Stadium in Gombe has been a sort of fortress for Doma United FC, with a 100% home win record, especially notable wins over Gombe United FC and the nine-time champions, Enyimba International FC.

The Savannah Tigers have become a big revelation this season, building on their performance from the previous season when they narrowly missed out on playing in the Super 6.

Plateau United, presently in 6th position, will face an extra challenge given the current form of Doma United's goal poacher, Hilary Ekawu.

In their last match, Plateau United scored all the goals in a 3-1 victory against Abia Warrior and will aim to maintain their scoring form against Doma United.
