KRC Genk is keen on bringing back Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu from Southampton, as his stint with the English club in the Sky Bet Championship was unproductive, with no goals scored in his 11 league appearances.
Onuachu had previously enjoyed immense success at Genk, where he netted an impressive 79 goals in 114 league matches, earning him prestigious accolades such as the Belgian First Division A Top Goalscorer, Belgian Professional Footballer of the Year, Belgian Golden Shoe, and Ebony Shoe in 2021.
His remarkable achievements solidify his position as one of Genk's most prolific goal-scorers in history.
In addition to Genk, other clubs including Borussia Monchengladbach, Union Berlin, Stuttgart, Schalke 04, Trabzonspor, and Besiktas have also shown interest in acquiring Onuachu's services from Southampton.
