Fulham rejects £25 million Al-Hilal bid for Serbian striker Mitrovic

Fulham Football Club has turned down a £25 million bid from Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal for Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. The 28-year-old forward, who joined Fulham from Newcastle in 2018 for a reported fee of £22 million, still has three years remaining on his contract.
Reliable sources within Fulham have confirmed to reporters that they swiftly rejected the offer and have no intention of selling Mitrovic.
Al-Hilal has been active in the transfer market this summer, securing the signings of Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly and Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.
Meanwhile, Mitrovic had an impressive season, scoring 14 goals in the Premier League as Fulham finished in 10th place upon their return to the top flight.
In their promotion-winning campaign of 2021-22, he also set a record in the Championship by netting 43 goals in 44 matches.
However, Mitrovic faced disciplinary action for an incident in April during an FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Manchester United.
He received an eight-match ban and was fined £75,000 for pushing referee Chris Kavanagh.
Despite this incident, Fulham remains steadfast in their stance of retaining the talented striker.
