: Fulham declines £17m offer for Spurs target Tosin Adarabioyo
Posted : 17 August 2023
With the summer transfer window nearing its end, the uncertain Tosin Adarabioyo transfer situation persists.
Fulham's agent, Frank Trimboli, is working to secure the Manchester-born Nigerian central defender's move to Tottenham Hotspur rather than Monaco.
Tosin has expressed his desire to join Monaco over Tottenham and, as per The Athletic UK, Fulham has rejected a €10 million (around N8.5 billion) bid from the Ligue 1 club for the Anglo-Nigerian center-back.
While Monaco initially submitted a €7 million bid, it was deemed inadequate by Fulham. With Monaco in need of a right-footed center-back following Axel Disasi's departure to Chelsea, Tosin has emerged as a prime candidate.
With one year left on his Fulham contract, the 25-year-old is determined not to extend his stay at Craven Cottage. Despite the transfer speculation, he did not feature in Fulham's recent win against Everton.
