Frankfurt to sign Nigerian-eligible teammate of Adeyemi

Nnamdi Collins, a talented 19-year-old German center-back and teammate of Karim Adeyemi, is making a move from Borussia Dortmund to join five-time DFB-Pokal winners and German Bundesliga side, Eintracht Frankfurt.
Despite his young age, Collins has been highly regarded as a future star for Dortmund, although most of his playing time has been with the reserve team, BVB II, and he has yet to make a senior team appearance.
Although he had the chance to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, like his teammate Adeyemi, Collins represented Germany at various youth levels. However, owing to his family ties, he remains eligible to pledge allegiance to the Nigerian National Team.
Collins has been in demand in the transfer market, with interest from clubs like Chelsea and Roma's Jose Mourinho.
However, he opted to sign a new contract with Dortmund and has now chosen to make the switch to the Commerzbank Arena with Eintracht Frankfurt.
According to Sport 1, Collins is expected to sign a five-year deal with Frankfurt, and Dortmund will receive a transfer fee of approximately one million euros.
Frankfurt plans to immediately send him on loan to a neighboring club, where he can gain valuable playing time and develop his skills to become a Bundesliga-level defender.
The move has garnered praise from Dortmund legend Lars Ricken, who considers Collins an "outstanding talent in German youth football."
Now, at 19 years old and with the move to Eintracht, the young center-back is determined to make his mark and break into Frankfurt's first team, showcasing his immense potential and skills on the big stage.
