In a bid to quickly return to the dugout, former Sporting Lagos FC coach, Paul Offor, has agreed to join the ambitious Grassrunners FC of Ikenne Remo, Ogun State, on a three-year contract.
Recall that after his disengagement from the Noisy Lagosians, Offor was unveiled by Kano Pillars but was sacked almost immediately after the Kano State government refused to renew the contract of the former club board.
However, the new board decided to disregard the decision of the former board, and Offor's appointment was discarded.
In an effort not to remain without a team to manage, Offor opted to join the National League One (NLO) side, signing a three-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2027, with an option for renewal if both parties agree.
The news of the deal was shared by the club’s CEO, Gbenga Agbejoye, who also noted that Offor would be officially unveiled by the club in the coming days.
“We want to welcome coach Paul Offor to Grassrunners FC.
“We are excited to have secured him on a three-year deal, and we hope that together we can move this great club forward.”
