Former El-Kanemi gaffer, Hamza Abarah set to join Gombe United

Former Technical Adviser of El-Kanemi Football Club of Maiduguri, Hamza Abarah has been linked with the vacant job of Gombe United.

Africa Sport Network (ASN) reports that Abarah had resigned from the technical bench of the Maiduguri outfit after a difficult spell at the club which had seen the traditional club relegated to lower league.

The Minna-born tactician has now been approached by Gombe United for a possible replacement to the vacant position of its head Coach, as negotiations have commenced in earnest.

Meanwhile, a source at Gombe United has stated that it will be a great opportunity to have Abarah as Technical Adviser due to his coaching experiences in the past few years. 

He added that Abarah is one of the few techinal advisers in the Nigerian league a club would love to have. 

It would be recalled that Abarah has had succesful coaching careers with Sokoto United, Niger Tornadoes, Enyimba FC, Plateau United, ElKanemi Warriors and others.
