Former Aston Villa striker anticipates Folarin Balogun will be sold in the summer

Folarin Balogun should be sold by Arsenal this summer, according to Gabriel Agbonlahor, a former Aston Villa attacker, because Mikel Arteta's team cannot use him.
Balogun has been in outstanding form for the Red and Whites, scoring 19 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions while on loan with Stade de Reims of French Ligue 1.
Balogun's deal with the Gunners expires in 2025, and speculation has it that he may leave permanently before the summer transfer window closes.
The England U21 international of Nigerian heritage is attracting interest from teams in the top five European Leagues.
When asked by Football Insider if Balogun should go this summer, Agbonlahor responded, "I think so. He's done well in France, but I don't think he's Arsenal standard.
"They're going to be in the Champions League next season, they need another proven striker to compete with Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus.
"I don't think Arsenal would use him next season if he came back.
"Him scoring goals in France has helped the club. Now they can put him up for sale and name their price.
"It’s definitely a sale waiting for Arsenal to make."
Balogun, an alumni of Arsenal's Hale End Academy, has just twice made an appearance for the senior club in the Premier League.
