Former Nigerian international Finidi George maintains confidence in his team's ability to reverse their CAF Champions League fortunes.
Despite a first-leg loss, he remains optimistic about their chances in the home leg against Al Ahli Benghazi at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba.
Though Enyimba endured a narrow defeat in the away match, George, the experienced coach, praised his team's performance and fighting spirit.
He acknowledged the challenges faced in the hostile environment but highlighted the positive aspects of the game.
George emphasized the need for improvement in certain areas while expressing hope that playing at their home stadium with the support of their fans would provide extra motivation for Enyimba to overcome the deficit and progress to the next round.
Looking ahead to the return leg, George is determined to approach the game differently and secure a victory, recognizing the significance of the upcoming match and the potential impact of playing on their home turf.
Having secured his first coaching trophy with Enyimba last season, George aims to continue his successful journey with the team in the current season.
