Young and enterprising left-back for the 'Flying Antelopes', Rangers International F.C, Kenneth Igboke, has assured his teaming fans and supporters of the Coal-City outfit that his sights are set on achieving great things with the club before exporting his talent to the outside world.
The teenage sensation is in his second season with the senior side after cutting his young soccer teeth with an away NPFL fixture against Niger Tornadoes at their adopted Kaduna home ground in the 2022/2023 NPFL season where he shone like a million stars and has never looked back ever since, as he has been churning out impressive outings game after game.
Igboke, who was spotted playing football in the streets of Nsukka, Enugu State by the eagle-eyed young coaches of the Rangers Feeders team a few years back, has grown through the ranks, gaining confidence to be handed a starting place in the senior team of the seven-time league champions.
During the season, the attacking left-back has two goals to his credit as he found the back of the net against Heartland in the first round and also scored against Akwa United at the start of the second stanza.
He has been causing a lot of problems for right-backs of opposing teams whenever he is listed to defend the badge of the club.
His incisive crosses during games always delight the spectators and his attacking teammates.
On the next match against Bayelsa United FC, Kenneth Igboke said, "It has been two great seasons for me in the club, Rangers, and it's my dream to achieve with the team that allowed me to showcase my talent and be appreciated.
``Like every other great footballer, it's my dream to also defend the flag of our nation at any of the age grades and even the senior national team as well as export my God-given football talent to the outside world."
He appreciated the coaches, management, teammates, and fans for always being there for him and the team.
For the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 33, resurgent Bayelsa United will travel to face title-chasers Rangers International FC.
Bayelsa United will visit Enugu Rangers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Sunday as Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu aims to avoid defeat for Rangers to continue their title chase.
The last meeting saw Bayelsa United defeat Rangers 2-0, and Bayelsa, fighting to avoid relegation, will seek to replicate that performance.
Rangers, however, have been dominant at home, winning 14 of their last 16 home games, while Bayelsa have struggled on the road, with just one win in 16.
