Fiorentina beat Basel 4-3 aggregate to set up Europa Conference League final

 Fiorentina defeated Basel 3-1 on Thursday to earn a 4-3 victory overall and a spot in the Europa Conference League final against West Ham.

The Serie A team was eliminated after falling down 2-1 in the first leg thanks to goals from Nico Gonzalez and Zeki Amdouni. Antonin Barak's goal in stoppage time gave the Serie A team the victory.

Gonzalez headed in Cristiano Biraghi's corner to start the scoring.

Amdouni's goal from a tight angle gave Basel their one-goal advantage overall back, but the drama was only getting started.

Fiorentina scored in stoppage time when Barak hammered in from close range after Gonzalez's reaction finish confirmed extra time.

On Wednesday, June 7, the final will be played in Prague.

On May 24, Fiorentina, who is presently in eighth position in Serie A, will play Inter in the Coppa Italia final.
