FIBA has a new and exciting digital offering after launching a fresh website ecosystem that will ensure the already impressive levels of fan engagement continue to rise.
Capitalizing on the remarkable growth and popularity of the sport, FIBA has launched FIBA Basketball (fiba.basketball), the ultimate go-to platform for basketball enthusiasts, providing a one-stop experience for all FIBA competition-related content and more.
The website offers the perfect blend of FIBA’s competition content, including news, videos, photos, and brand-new editorial features.
With a detailed competition calendar, fans will never miss a game as they stay informed about all upcoming competitions.
The platform enables users to see all live games on one screen, access the FIBA World Rankings with historical results, view detailed profiles of every player who has ever participated in a FIBA competition, explore extensive and compelling national team profiles, and access historical data for every FIBA tournament over the years.
Similarly, all the FIBA Competitions websites have been redesigned with a focus on fan engagement and experience at their core.
Each dedicated event site includes game schedules, results, live and accumulated stats, group standings, team and player profiles, editorial coverage, and video coverage.
Fans can now check out two examples: the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 and EuroLeague Women.
FIBA has also completely revamped its corporate website, about.fiba.basketball, which is dedicated to audiences interested in the institution.
The revamped website features detailed information on governance, structure, and recognized organizations, as well as insights into FIBA’s strategic goals, global initiatives, and partnerships.
Users can access all the latest corporate news, learn about each of FIBA’s various programs and services, including FIBA’s Media Centre, and find key documents such as the Official Basketball Rules.
There are also dedicated websites for each FIBA Regional Office and for each of FIBA’s various programs and services, including the Equipment & Venue Centre.
Nicolas Chapart, FIBA Head of Digital, said, “Fans around the world are consuming content in different ways and are rightly expecting more tailored and quality experiences. This is an expectation that we are determined not only to meet but to exceed.
“The new website ecosystem is just the latest example of how FIBA continues to put technology and digital services at the heart of what we do.
“After two years of work, we now have a solid foundation in place, and this launch is just the beginning.
“We are convinced that our new website ecosystem will boost engagement with our sport, offering fans an improved and personalized user experience while delivering more focused information for our corporate audience.
“We will continuously enhance the platforms to ensure they meet and adapt to the ever-evolving demands of our audiences.”
