It will be a battle for supremacy in the Southern Conference Group B1 of the Nigeria National League (NNL) when FC ONE Rocket faces Rovers FC at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar, by 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The Indomitables have enjoyed a good run of form, which has seen them record three straight wins: 3-1 and 2-3, respectively, against Henserd and last Saturday's 2-0 win over Go-Round in Eket.
The team will have to negotiate their way to the top against an unbeaten Rovers team.
The head coach of FC ONE Rocket, Ndubisi Ndah, describes the fixture as a highly important one. "This is the most important game of the season."
"We want to top this group and qualify for the Super 8, and this is the game that will take us there." Ndah also calls for top performances from his players.
"We are here to fight, and everyone must be ready to fight."
Anyone selected to play must give 100 percent for the number of minutes he will be on the pitch. "We are on a good run, and we must maintain that.
" We are not here for a draw. "We are here for the three points so that we can overtake them and go to the top of the group, then go back home and consolidate," he said.
The reverse fixture ended goalless in Eket, a game the Indomitables dominated but missed a plethora of chances to seal victory.
