Fans expectant of Sporting Lagos FC's win over Niger Tornadoes

After the Match Day 3 debacle, in which Sporting Lagos FC played a less-fancied winless game against Doma FC, the Tech Boys must now learn to bring smiles back to the faces of their devoted fans.

The league debutant Sporting Lagos FC has started the 2023/2024 campaign with a convincing win over Gombe United FC, securing a 2-0 victory, and also earned a much-needed point away at Akwa Ibom.

The Tech Boys stumbled on the road, playing a goalless draw at home against Doma United, and followed it with a loss against Remo Stars in the Southwest derby.

Now, they face another Northern opponent as Niger Tornadoes come knocking.

Sporting Lagos FC will aim to secure a win if they want their 2023/2024 league aspirations to come to fruition.

Head to head: This is the first meeting between both clubs in top-flight football.
