"Extraordinary" - Barcelona star hails Osimhen

Victor Osimhen of Napoli has been hailed by Barcelona icon Hristo Stoichkov as the key to the team's historic Serie A run this year.

In an interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport, Stoichkov, a former player for Barcelona and the Bulgarian national team, discussed the importance of the Nigerian striker to Napoli's success.

Osimhen has been instrumental in Osimhen's team's success as they have played outstanding football this season and are in position to win a historic Scudetto. The former Lille attacker has 26 goals this season, including 21 in Serie A, in all competitions.

Stoichkov said, “Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli, who are no longer in the Champions League because they were eliminated in the quarterfinals against Milan, have played fantastic football this season and are about to win a historic Scudetto thanks also to an extraordinary striker like Osimhen.”
