Ex-Flying Eagles midfielder signs with FC Kaiserslautern in Germany

German club FC Kaiserslautern has officially welcomed former Flying Eagles defensive midfielder Afeez Aremu through their website.
Aremu's transfer marks the end of his three-year tenure with St. Pauli, as he embarks on a new chapter with one of Germany's esteemed football clubs.
The details of the contract's duration and financial terms remain undisclosed. Over his time with St. Pauli, the 23-year-old participated in 59 competitive matches, with the majority in the 2.Bundesliga.
His football journey also includes a stint with IK Start in Norway, where he contributed 63 appearances, five goals, and an assist.
Aremu expressed his enthusiasm for this career advancement, emphasizing the importance of the move and his aspiration to contribute to FC Kaiserslautern's success on the pitch.
The Nigerian midfielder's earlier experiences include playing for domestic clubs such as Remo Stars, Sunshine Stars, Rivers United, and Akwa United, before venturing to Europe in 2018. He was part of the Flying Eagles' squad during the 2019 Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
