European football pundit praises Orban enthusiastically

Tottenham Hotspur is considering Nigerian striker Gift Orban as a potential replacement for departed legend Harry Kane, who recently transferred to Bayern Munich for a substantial fee. 

While finding a direct replacement for Kane's Premier League prowess is challenging, Orban gained attention by scoring 20 goals in 22 matches for KAA Gent last season and performing well in the 2023-2024 Pro League and Europa Conference League qualifiers.

European football expert Andy Brassell acknowledges Orban's explosive potential and youth but raises questions about his readiness for the Premier League. 

Brassell notes that while Orban has shone in Belgium since his January arrival from Norwegian football, expecting consistent Premier League success immediately might be ambitious. 

Brassell suggests that Tottenham has other options like Richarlison, who can lead the line and provide support, considering that backing up a top striker like Kane is no easy task. Therefore, going for a younger player like Orban could be a prudent strategy for the club.
