Esperance, Etoile du Sahel battle for NPL Golden Boot winner

Enyimba goal poacher Chukwuemeka Obioma has caught the attention of Tunisian Professional League 1 powerhouses, Esperance and Étoile Sportive du Sahel, as they compete to secure his signature. 

Obioma's outstanding performance last season, where he clinched the Nigerian Premier League Golden Boot with a total of sixteen goals, has sparked interest from clubs in Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Libya, and Egypt.

Enyimba is well aware of the growing interest in Obioma and has set a price tag of US$250,000.00 (equivalent to approximately N194 million) for the 24-year-old striker. 

Although Esperance and Étoile Sportive du Sahel have engaged in discussions with the player's intermediaries, they have yet to submit official bids to the Nigerian champions.

Despite the potential opportunity to compete in the CAF Champions League group stage if he remains at Enyimba for the 2023-2024 season, Obioma is eager to embark on a new chapter in his career. 

Represented by Nigerian agent Samuel Ogbah of Activity Chambers, the striker is seeking fresh challenges and opportunities to further develop his football journey.
