Erling Haaland appears to be making fun of Arsenal as Man City leads the Premier League standings
Posted : 23 April 2023
Erling Haaland of Manchester City posted as soon as Arsenal lost again on Friday night on social media.
Arsenal's chances of winning the league were dealt another setback on Friday as Southampton held the Gunners to a 3-3 draw at the Emirates.
Haaland may not have missed the outcome either, since the Premier League's leading scorer sent an update on Twitter immediately after the game's conclusion.
Despite having played two more games than their championship rivals and still having to go to the Etihad, the Gunners now lead City by five points.
With Friday's draw, Arsenal has now gone three games in a row without a victory in the Premier League. There was some reason to celebrate, though, as Arsenal will end the season ahead of rival Tottenham in north London for the first time since 2015–16.
On Saturday, City will play Sheffield United in the FA Cup semifinals. The City will next focus on Wednesday's Premier League matchup at the Etihad against Arsenal.
