Erik Ten Hag: "Many quality players" are interested in joining Man Utd

After an impressive initial season as manager, Erik ten Hag thinks it will be simpler to persuade "quality" players to join Manchester United in the current transfer window than previous summer.

The turbulent 2021/22 season, in which United finished sixth in the Premier League and had three different managers, had just ended when Ten Hag joined.

"I see a big difference in comparison with last year," said Ten Hag.

"There were a lot of reservations last year when I spoke with players and now many players see the project, what's going on, the dynamic and the ambition in this project, the quality especially.

Ten Hag has given the team a new sense of security, taking them to the FA Cup final, the League Cup triumph, and just outside the top-four finish and Champions League qualifying.

Ten Hag hopes for easier negotiations to strengthen squad ahead of bidding process.
