Enyimba Int'l FC Striker, Mbaoma talks tough ahead of return leg duel against Al Ahly Benghazi second leg

Enyimba striker Chijioke Mbaoma has said that he remained confident that his side could overturn a first leg deficit to beat Al Ahly Benghazi and reach the next round of the CAF Champions League.
The Nigerian club lost 4-3 away to the Libyan outfit in the first leg of their preliminary tie last weekend.
Mbaoma believes Enyimba can still progress when they host Ahly Benghazi in Sunday’s return match.
“We are not satisfied, but we have to be satisfied with ourselves and look forward to the next step,” Mbaoma said.
“They played and won at home. Now is the time for us to play with our fans and show them what we can do too.”
Enyimba must produce an improved performance and result in the second leg to keep their CAF Champions League campaign alive.
Despite losing the first leg, scoring three away goals provides a glimmer of hope for the Nigerian side.
Veteran striker Mbaoma was on target in the defeat and will be key to Enyimba’s chances of overturning the 4-3 aggregate scoreline.
The 31-year-old’s experience could prove invaluable as Enyimba aim to take the tie to penalties or win outright in Sunday’s decider.
Mbaoma has challenged his teammates to harness their home support and demonstrate their quality when it matters most.
Enyimba know they face an uphill task but have the attacking talent in Mbaoma to provide a threat and keep their continental ambitions on track.
