2024/2025 NPFL mid season transfer: Enyimba International FC turns to Sporting Lagos FC's former striker, Lokosa, for redemption

After an abysmal performance in recent matches, Nigeria's nine-time league winners, Enyimba International FC, have turned their attention to former league top scorer and ex-Sporting Lagos FC striker, Junior Lokosa, for a possible redemption.  


The People's Elephant had previously made an ambitious attempt to sign Super Eagles' foremost striker, Brown Ideye.  


Now, it is the turn of Junior Lokosa, the 2017/18 NPFL top scorer and Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, who has signed a six-month deal with the two-time CAF Champions League holders, Enyimba FC.  


Lokosa scored 20 goals in all competitions for Kano Pillars in the 2017/18 season, earning him a place in the Super Eagles of Nigeria squad.  


The former Simba SC and Espérance de Tunis striker left Sporting Lagos after his contract expired last month.
