England dominated their Euro 2024 qualifier against North Macedonia with a resounding 7-0 victory at Old Trafford. Bukayo Saka, from Arsenal, stole the spotlight by scoring his first career hat-trick.
Harry Kane contributed two goals, including one from a penalty, while Marcus Rashford also found the back of the net on his home ground. Kalvin Phillips added another goal to complete the rout. With this win, England maintains a perfect record in Group C, winning all four of their games.
The first goal came after 29 minutes, with Kane capitalizing on a cross from Luke Shaw for an easy tap-in. Saka scored his first goal of the night following a clever exchange between Kyle Walker and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Rashford received a rousing ovation when he scored from close range, becoming the first Manchester United player to score for England at Old Trafford since November 2001 when David Beckham achieved the feat.
In the second half, England wasted no time and extended their lead. Saka unleashed a stunning shot from 25 yards just two minutes into the half. He completed his hat-trick with a composed finish after being set up by Kane only four minutes later.
Substitute Kalvin Phillips scored his first international goal to further emphasize England's dominance, and Kane sealed the victory by converting a penalty. It was a satisfying performance for Saka, who described it as a "perfect end to the season" and expressed his happiness with his display.
