Receiving a phone call from Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds is not an everyday occurrence. For footballer Elliot Lee, having a pre-game massage turned into a wide-eyed moment when Will Ferrell casually dropped by to say hello. These extraordinary experiences are part of the norm at Wrexham Football Club.
 
Lee remarks, "The surreal at Wrexham becomes normal." He shares that the team often laughs about these unique encounters. Even before a game, when Ferrell walked in, they couldn't help but find the situation amusing. Lee reflects, "This is crazy." However, this is just another day at Wrexham.
 
The team has even more remarkable experiences ahead, as they are set to travel to America for a pre-season tournament in Las Vegas. Lee anticipates that the upcoming trip will be another crazy adventure. Trying to convey the essence of Wrexham to people back home is challenging, but Lee emphasizes that it's something you have to experience firsthand.
 
Lee joined Wrexham in July 2022 and made an immediate impact by scoring two goals on his debut. He played a crucial role in Wrexham's remarkable journey to win the National League title, ending their 15-year wait for a return to the Football League.
